A flogger is multi tailed whip. Because of the multiple tails, the flogger is usually considered less harsh than a whip. This makes the flogger a good toy for warmup. Depending on the type of leather used, floggers can still cause severe pain. A flogger that has attachments at the end is called a scourge.
The best known form of flogger is a cat o nine tails - a simple leatherflogger made with 9 ends.
