Puppy play transforms the submissive partner into a dog. The puppy usually loses its ability to walk and talk and needs to communicate using growls and barks instead.
Depending on the use, puppy play can be used to increase or reduce the emotional attachment between the partners involved. If puppy play is done in a playful manner, the partners will have to pay much more attention to each other because of the lack of verbal communication. This creates a bond that is stronger than most others formed during play.
If the puppy is however treated badly and humiliated, puppy play can be used for dehumanization.
The most important part of most puppy outfits is the collar. Usually wide black leather collars are used. Since puppy play is not as popular as other forms of animal play, there are very few commercially sold puppy play parts. Butt plugs with dog like tail attachments exist but are hard to find.
