Plastic wrap, also known under the brand name Saran wrap, can be used for mummification as well as improvised bondage as rope replacement. The thin plastic material is easy to cut but at the same time shows impressive strength when pulled. The thin plastic is also capable of transmitting most sensations, making it an acceptable barrier for protection, i.e. for rimming.
When using plastic wrap, always consider that it is very effective at trapping heat. If you cover any significant portion of the body make sure to check the well being of the subject. Overheating and dehydration can quickly ruin any scene.
